Teaching Art at Local Elementary School. Tremendous opportunity to teach students at a local elementary school Gr 3~8. It Started out as me coming in to teach 2 grades it ended with me Teaching all 7 grades at the school. The Students and the Teachers were incredibly enthusiastic to have me there and it was great to craft projects that followed their school curriculum. Some students in Grade were so excited they didn't leave to go on recess and stayed in class to continue their Art many asked if I could return the next day as they wanted more Classes. The most touching comment i received from a student was " This is the most fun I've ever had doing Art" I still have to return to the school to teach another Grade and I'm so looking forward to it.
What a great way to end the March break camp! Lots of new students found they have a passion for Art and discovered new things about themselves. The camp always makes me happy to see new students after they've completed a piece of Art that is special to them and how much fun it was from beginning to end.

This week class photos! My Arts program teaches and encourages your child to think on their feet in a creative manner. They will approach tasks from different perspectives and think ‘outside of the box’ This will help distinguish your child from others. If children have practice thinking creatively more often, it will come naturally to them now and in their future education and careers. All this beautiful art is done by my students (Grade 3-7) I wanted to add to the below comment by one of my students parents. Art improves children's confidence and decision making process in many ways, nothing inspires me more than reading positive comments from Parents about how their child has stronger self esteem and pride of ownership of the Art they create. "Thank you for your teaching my daughter. She really likes art lessons! And even she got a chance to teach how to draw for her classmate".

This week class photos! Acrylic painting class I love the way one student painted straight to canvas with no preliminary drawing at all and only took two hours to complete! she has been taking art classes with me for 4 years she is very focused and works hard to achieve beautiful Artwork. The panda projects were very varied and look so detailed and thoughtful including family members as pandas or as a self portrait.... I am so proud of all my students work but I wanted to hi-lite these new projects in particular well done!
A Great way to end 2014 with my Talented students Artwork in a book! Thanks to Russell for his hard work on assembling the Artwork and Portraits, photographing the Art and all the Students. I am very proud of my Students accomplishments over last year and for some over many years of hard work and dedication to improving the way they draw and paint. I look forward to another extremely successful year at Art for Life 4 Kids!! This year we will be doing Local Art exhibitions for my Students, details to come soon
